August 5, 2026: Establishment Comeuppance, Jaws of Victory, Stench of tRUMP

 

Last night was primary night in my old home state of Michigan. It was not a good night for the 'establishment'.

On the Democratic side, Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated congresswoman Haley Stevens despite being outspent in the contest by 11 to 1. Stevens not only reportedly raised and spent between 62 and 70 million dollars in this democratic PRIMARY contest, but had the endorsements of Governor Whitmer and most of the Democratic establishment, including Chuck Schumer and Congressman Jim Clyburn. With the passing of Jesse Jackson and Georgia Congressman John Lewis, Clyburn has become the voice of the black community. Clyburn, one may recall, is the idiot that rescued Biden from oblivion in the South Carolina Primary, ensuring that the 'establishment' would once again deny Bernie Sanders the 2020 presidential nomination.

Clyburn and the establishment got their comeuppance. El-Sayed, with Sanders' endorsement and following Sanders' 2016 strategy (1) squeaked out a narrow victory over the mossbacks by winning much of Western Michigan as well as Manistee, Traverse City and much of Michigan's Upper Penninsula. He won in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, but narrowly lost in Muskegon, Detroit, Saginaw and Flint. He, like Sanders, lost the I-75 corridor, but carried much of the rest of the state. He carried the college towns of Ann Arbor and East Lansing, Marquette, and Big Rapids. He won the countryside. Not bad for a man who had no name recognition only few months ago.

Yes, he was endorsed by Sanders and A.O.C. He earned the endorsement of the United Auto Workers, something not to be minimized here. But he took on the establishment. All the old pols, the mossbacks, and the Israeli lobby. AIPAC, American-Israeli Political Action Committee, is said to have spent north of 32 million dollars in this campaign in support of Haley Stevens. Roughly half of the money raised by her campaign, which, in the waning hours, became really ugly.

Alas, when the dust had cleared in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Abdul stood standing. El-Sayed has proven to be a formidable political figure. Former captain of the University of Michigan football team, medical student and Rhodes Scholar he has campaigned against genocide in Gaza, called for an end to military aid for Israel, supports Medicare for all, organized labor, raising the minimum wage, unpacking the Supreme Court, and restoring the American working and middle classes. These are positions that resonate across the political spectrum like a sledge hammer hitting a tuning fork.

Stevens, for her part, ran a miserable campaign, begging the question: had the Democratic establishment backed Mallory McMorrow, would they had won? Never, ever, underestimate the ability of the Democratic Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

On the ReSCUMlickan side, in Michigan's 8^th Congressional District, an open seat vacated by the vanquished Haley Stevens, Amir Hassan was defeated by Thomas Smith 50% to 33% despite having

the endorsement of our Caesar Disgustus, the Orange Turd. Indeed, Smith had withdrawn from the race weeks earlier, endorsing Hassan, going so far as to don his campaign hat and make an ad saying Hassan was his preferred choice  Clearly the racist base of the ReSCUMlickan Party were having none of a candidate whose name sounded 'ferrin'. That and the stench of Caesar Disgustus purged Hassan of all but the most dedicated racists. However, as in tRUMP's early and brief endorsement of his Covid vaccine demonstrated, the maggot base will not tolerate being told to take its medicine or vote for someone whose name sounds foreign.

Caesar Disgustus, whose approval is now in the low 30's, has clearly become shopworn. As the stench of tRUMP lifts up to the skies, he slowly sinks into the swamp of his own making. Caesar Disgustus has reached the end of his tether.

August 1, 2026: A tough Stretch, No-Bid Contracts, Hemming and Hawing

 

It has been a tough stretch of our shitting 'president'. In the wake of the July 4 celebration disaster, Disgustus is now confronting the reality that the reflecting pool disaster was not the result of imagined vandalism, but resulting from his very own incompetence.

Entering a 'no-bid' contract with a personal favorite (by his own admission now, of course, being denied), the 'lining' of the pool has been determined to have been improperly applied and may, indeed, have been of inferior quality. There is no evidence of it being cut anywhere, much less as tRUMP has repeatedly claimed, a gash some 350 yards long. Disgustus loves to make things up.

That being the pretext, the feds arrested a former Olympian on charges of vandalizing the pool for having put his hand in the water, ostensibly to retrieve a small piece of lining floating near the service.

Jeanine Pirro, late of Faux News (the tRUMP administration employment agency), is now United States Attorney for the District of Columbia charged with bringing the prosecution. While at Fox she distinguished herself with her howling commentaries castigating DemocRATs (her emphasis) in nearly daily screeds aimed at agitating the knuckle-dragging audience into a near constant frenzy. Hence the audition for the favors of Caesar Disgustus and the ensuing appointment.

So this former 'judge', if you can imagine it, finds herself at the knife's edge of tRUMPs latest debacle, charged with prosecuting imaginary crimes in order to scapegoat anyone so as to protect tRUMP from any consequence. And, here we are.

But the case, of course, cannot stand the first rays of light. The Justice Department announced, after much hemming and hawing, that the case would be dropped.

It remains to be seen how much longer Pirro remains as United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. Just another Faux News talking head well out of her league serving a man who has no business anywhere near the White House.

Religion is inspired and created by human conceit. It is, in fact, a product of fear, indeed terror. Its motivation is a result of an overpowering fear of death. It is whistling past the graveyard.

It's power comes from the terror of death replacing it with bogus promises of redemption and eternal life with a stiff drink of purpose in the mix. It gives you a sense of belonging. It reassures you in your perpetual terror, it teaches you to submit to authority; foremost it implores you to check your head at the door and not think. It has always served the interests of the rulers; it has always been the handmaiden of every state on earth. It has always been, in the very words of the religionist, about shepherds and sheep.

Indeed, as a rough index, once can readily discern the level of relative psychopathy of any given society by how religious it holds itself to be.

In the United States, this has become worrisome.

Writing nearly a quarter century ago, the late Molly Ivins cited the growing impact of the Evangelical Wrong upon the then Bush-dominated ReSCUMlickan Party. “By the time Bush was invoking God's name to order troops into Iraq, The New York Times reported that 46 percent of Americans had identified themselves in a Gallup Poll as born-again evangelical Christians; 48 percent of Americans believe in creationism, while 28 percent believe in evolution; and Americans are twice as likely to believe in the devil as in the theory of evolution.” (1)

Karl Rove, chief political strategist then known then as “Bush's Brain”, followed “Dubya”, as they say in Texas” down the rathole leading from a prayer group in Midland Texas to a range of televangelists, bible thumpers and howlers, which included the likes of “pastors Roloff, and Hagee and, eventually Robertson and Falwell. (2)

The proximity of so much filth is bound to affect public policy, which was entirely the point. But as it pertains to the Middle East, Ivins summarized in ugly brevity:

Then the Temple on the Mount is rebuilt (after they clear away one of Islam's most sacred sites, the al-Aska Mosque). Once all that's in place, Jesus establishes a theocratic world government and rules for one thousand years.

That's it in a nutshell.

This “end times theology” requires Christians to cooperate with Israelis—to hasten along the events that must occur before the prophecies are fulfilled. It all has Hagee, Netanyahu, Perle,(3) Bush, and Rove working for the same end—or at least the same temporal end.

If this is not the end times, it's at least strange times.” (4)

Indeed, as Ivins once pointed out, there are a group of west-Texas cattlemen breeding the 'red heifer' needed for sacrifice when the time comes.

For a quarter century or more this quackery has had a strangle-hold on the ResCUMlickan Party. Hell, I remember this kind of nonsense taught in Lutheran School 70 years ago. But it has gained such currency that Rove opined that from this evangelical base he would fashion a permanent ReSCUMlickan majority and rule indefinitely. That's how powerful this bowel movement once was and has, once again, become.

This leads us, by degrees, to our current Secretary of War Crimes one Pete Hegseth, he late of Faux News.

In case you thought all this went by the boards with Hurricane Katrina and the Financial Crisis of 2207-8, you are badly mistaken. This crap has been floating for decades and is now back with a vengeance.

Johnathan Larsen reported in March that U.S. Troops were told that the Iran War is for “Armageddon”, and the return of Jesus. (5)

The advocacy group “Military Religious Freedom Foundation” (MRFF), reports complaints from over 40 different units across at least 30 military installation. “A combat-unit commander told non-commissioned officers at a briefing Monday that the Iran war is part of God's plan and that President Donald Trump was 'anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth,” according to a complaint by a non-commissioned officer.

The NCO wrote to the MRFF that their commander 'urged us to tell our troops that this was “all part of God's divine plan” and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ”.

Many of their commanders are especially delighted with how graphic this battle will be zeroing in on how bloody all this must become in order to fulfill and in in 100% accordance with fundamentalist Christian end of the world eschatology.

Hegseth has “enshrined evangelical Christianity at the uppermost levels of the U.S. Military, airing monthly prayer meetings throughout the Pentagon...(H)egseth attends a weekly White House Bible study. It's led by a preacher who says God commands America to support Israel.(6)

This is the madness in which we find ourselves mired. Nitwityahoo has this country by the throat and is leading us to the precipice. The combination of AIPAC and associated organizations that compose the Israeli lobby, the collusion of U.S. And Israeli intelligence (7), and the support of the fanatical evangelical religious wrong has not only destroyed the ReSCUMlickan Party as a legitimate representative of our national interests, but now threatens the very existence of the once great American Empire.

Caesar Disgustus now finds himself on the horns of a dilemma. On the one hand he needs peace in order to stabilize markets and control inflation; he needs peace in order to stop the hemorrhage of munitions; he needs peace in order to not further antagonize the international community; he needs peace in order to stop the exodus of allies; he needs peace in order to shore up support for petrodollars. On the other hand he cannot accept a peace that his base will not accept. And his base is populated by the sheep, the know-nothings, by the paranoid 'American Firsters”, by the Evangelical Wrong. Nitwityahoo knows this, and he knows he's got Disgustus by the balls. 'The Donald' can be so easily manipulated and now he is discovering, to his personal humiliation and the detriment of the nation, what happens when you find yourself well out of your league on the national political stage.

We find ourselves, quite literally, dancing with Armageddon as this ship of fools sails headlong toward the shoals.

It has been over 5 years since Uncle Sam, after laboring and groaning for four solid years, finally shit this turd. This was the election of 2020. But the chinless bastard from Kentucky, trusting either the Democrats or the courts to perform the task McConnell was presently charged with doing, failed to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States. Unlike his predecessors a generation ago Moscow Mitch couldn't bring himself to muster the courage to convict the bastard, remove him from office and ban our erstwhile Caesar from ever again stinking up any public office in these United States. Telling himself and the nation that tRUMP was legally liable and would be dealt with by our legal system he deferred action trusting others to do that for which he held responsibility. What followed was wholly predictable.

Disgustus was left in the bowl to rot and stink for four long years, drawing flies creating hoard of Maggots. The institutions, that McConnell had gaslighted himself into believing would save him from any overt act of courage, proceeded to fold like cheap lawn chairs in a wind storm. Disgustus was let loose upon the land, the king-hell rat gnawing on the foundations of the republic.

This was institutional failure of epic proportions. Men of honor, like former federal prosecutor Glen Kershner assured us the legal system would hold, that tRUMP would be brought to justice. But Biden, who had no intention of prosecuting the Orange Turd, appointed a limp-wristed fool Attorney General who failed to take action until it was too late, leaving tRUMP enough time to run out the clock.

And so here we are. It is left to “We The People” to defeat the turd and his maggots in the upcoming election, assuming that we have a free and fair election.

We don't need another “No Kings” demonstration. We need a “Flush This Turd” march on Washington 3-5 million strong demanding that Congress do what it should have done 5 years ago. FLUSH THIS TURD!!!!

March 6, 2026: Bad Intestines, Operation Incredible Stupidity, It's the Stench

 

Nietzsche in the late 19^th century famously observed that Germany had no future. The reason, he opined, was bad intestines. Too much kraut and beer bloating the intestines making it impossible to think. It was a prescient prediction given the history of the following century. Germany managed to survive the calamities of the 20^th century, hyper-inflation and two world wars all of which were self-inflicted; but it emerged intact and is now thriving, perhaps with the introduction of French wine.

It is clear that the 'gut' is no replacement for intelligence and wisdom. It is no counsel for impending action. It is no guide pointing in the appropriate direction. It produces only bowel movements and mere flatulence; from both of which polite society predictably recoils.

Nevertheless, for as much as our Caesar Disgustus rails against the stupidity of Ol' Two-Cows and his mid-East adventures, he has clearly much more in common with Bush the Lesser than mere ReSCUMlickanism. Both brag about thinking not with their brains but with their guts. The ensuing flatulence has led first the diminutive Bush into the quagmires of Iraq and Afghanistan and now tRUMP into Iran. Operation Incredible Stupidity. It is typical ReSCUMlickan bravado posturing as Realpolitik. Faux masculinity on steroids creating the same hubris that led Alexander into Afghanistan, Napoleon and Hitler into Russia, Putin into Ukraine, Bush into Iraq and Afghanistan and now Caesar Disgustus into Iran. Experience is powerless to instruct.

Experience is powerless because the brain, or what passes for tRUMP's brain, is overwhelmed by the intestines; in this case by too many Big Mac's, French fries, and Diet Cokes. That both men made determined efforts to cheat themselves out of an education; that both men exhibit a staggering lack of curiosity about the world around them; that both men wear their ignorance like a crown is bad enough. But tRUMP has compounded his sloth by shitting and farting himself into near isolation. He has “advisors” but no one can stand to be near him. In any case he doesn't listen anyway. On this the world hangs in the balance.

This should be frightening enough but the crisis is compounded by severe mental illness, a deepening dementia and multiple mini-strokes further limiting an already nearly undetectable intelligence. The psychologist John Gardner has pointed out that among the features of Malignant Narcissism are sadism and lack of remorse and that frontal-lobe dementia reduces the patient's impulse control and exaggerates his clearly growing public display of sadistic tenancies. No such person, in the opinion of Gardner and other professionals should ever be in charge of anything. But, thanks to Maggotry, here we are.

These conditions have led us, by degrees to war with Iran.

Last week Disgustus launched “Operation Incredible Stupidity”, an unprovoked attack upon the nation of Iran. Following Bush he told the nation he did this following his 'gut' instincts. Translation, he did this out of lack of impulse control.

There were no good reasons for this military adventure. Iran was about to agree in principle to a framework in which their nuclear program would be halted and that they would scale down the tensions in the region in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions imposed by the West. In fact, tRUMP had put on the table a proposal that in essence was the deal Obama had reached with Iran a decade ago, one that tRUMP tore up when he first began stinking up Washington. The Iranians countered with even a better offer giving tRUMP a much needed victory.

But then comes Benjamin Nitwityahoo, the genocidal maniac responsible for the horror that is now the Gaza Strip. Telling tRUMP he's going in and, fearing retaliation against U,S. Forces in the area, Disgustus, on impulse, decided to go in first thereby grabbing the headlines and the 'glory', hoping for that quick victory and the needed distraction from the Epstein Scandals. tRUMP, ever gullible, has been dog-walked by Bibi into the Moors.  

The Joint Chiefs warned him this would not go well. They told him that we don't have the manpower, nor the ammunition for a long slog. The conflict would produce secondary repercussions throughout the region, disrupt world-wide supplies of oil and natural gas, unite Iranians and much of the region against Western Imperialism and render our posture in the region vulnerable.

But Disgustus has long demonstrated that he simply cannot be taught. This isn't a recent phenomenon brought about by disease. One of this professors at Wharton was quoted as saying that tRUMP was the dumbest ass he ever encountered in his classrooms. Today he reveals his stupidity at every turn as witnessed by his lack of mastery over tariffs and third-grade language and mathematics.(1) He's always been a dumb ass.

So, a week into this conflict, here we are. The bombing rages on, our stocks of Patriot Missiles is nearly depleted, Israel's “Iron Dome” is being penetrated, our military bases in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere are being evacuated. The Straight of Hormuz has been closed. Qatar has ceased production and export of liquefied natural gas. Oil prices are spiking, the world economy is teetering on the brink. There is no end in sight.

Disgustus thought he would have a quick victory and would don the laurel wreath of glory. Instead he has wandered off into a quagmire with none of our allies to be found. The world is pissed. Meanwhile, India and China look to Russia for much needed energy and Canada, Europe and the British Commonwealth are fast creating networks with Asia, Africa and Latin America to reconfigure the world's economy around this rogue superpower. Disgustus has not made America Great Again. He has made it into a pariah state. This is the legacy of tRUMP and tRUMPism. This is the legacy of Maggotry. This is the legacy of our self-anointed Caesar, and shit sits on the throne.
