September 10, 2018: Raising Snakes, Volcanic Reactions, Lie Detectors

"This White House is a snake pit.  It is a snake pit because this president raises snakes"
----David Frum, Speechwriter for President George W. Bush

Disgustus is in a rage, his reaction is reported to be Vulcanic as he rants and raves demanding to know who is 'Anonymous'.  So 'Unhinged' is the man and his followers that Senator Rand Paul has openly called for the use of lie detectors in service of finding foggy bottom.  Imagine the use of lie detector tests in this White House!  The machines would melt down under the strain.

Disgustus himself has become so animated that he has accused the author of treason.  This cannot possibly be so, given that Disgustus clearly has no idea of what constitutes treason given his conduct with the Russians.   It is a bit rich and more than a bit ironic that Disgustus and his supporters should call someone else treasonous while calling for the employment of lie detectors.

Meanwhile Bob Woodward's upcoming work describing this White House begins to replace 'Anonymous' as the sordid details come into sharper focus.  Disgustus, a few weeks ago, was recorded (with the knowledge of Disgustus) in a phone conversation in which Bob Woodward told Disgustus about his upcoming publication.  Woodward told tRUMP that it would be a 'tough' book.  Disgustus, after demurring that he didn't know that Woodward wanted to interview him for the book, told the author that he "had always been fair".  Now, as the details emerge, Disgustus has taken to the stump calling the upcoming book "Fake Books" and Woodward himself "an idiot".

Ad hominem attacks are always the last resort of a scoundrel. Alone with his cheeseburger Disgustus now has no one to turn to, fearing everyone, trusting no one.  One never sees him laugh or smile for he is now imprisoned in a hell of his own creation.  This is how one survives in a snake pit; this is what happens when you raise only snakes.

In any case day by day, hour by hour, this administration begins to resemble the 'final days' of the Nixon administration.  One expects, at any hour, for Disgustus to take the podium and declare to the nation that "I am not a crook" and he will find, like Nixon, that when he does he will be laughed out of court for he has no credibility.  The birdbrain Tweeted that away months ago.

"An Br'er Putin, he jus' laugh and laugh"

Impeach and Imprison.
